Up next...this 1970 Barracuda has just arrived from Western Canada looking for a full makeover.
It's going to be built as a 1971 Cuda Resto-mod, blinding Plum Crazy purple paint with white interior...
Those absolutely beautiful 17" Rally Rims from YearOne and of course, front and rear RMS suspension gets the project off to a great start !
Got the shell all assembled and ready for the body shop ! Dave's Paint shop will be handling this one as well. I've gone ahead and pre-mounted the AC box, the ECU, etc.. and added my ground studs etc... Ready to go...
With the car now at the body shop, it's time for me to start working on some of the major components. Here we have the dash assembly, complete with the Dakota Digital gauges, Vintage AC controls and all the 392 wiring.....
Work has started at Dave's Paint Shop where they've welded up over 50 holes in the engine compartment and prep the interior for the new automatic floor pan....
Went ahead and modified the transmission crossmember to make room for the custom exhaust !
With all the metal work finished, it's time to strip the body down to bare metal, and prep for some new coats of epoxy primer to protect the bare metal.
Dave's Paint shop has it all sealed up with epoxy primer, now time for some minor body work, and it will be smooth sailing !
